The international welfare fund "Children's heart" is established as an international non-profitable charitable foundation which one activity urged to assist developing of cardiosurgery of newborn children and upheaval of level of their servicing in hospital establishments of Ukraine, and also to allocation material and financial aid and miscellaneous services to neonatal children.

 The international welfare fund "Child's heart" has been registered by the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine on December, 7th, 1993 as the maiden welfare fund of a hospital direction in Ukraine. The setting up a fund initiative belongs to the known Ukrainian cardiosurgeon managing a Center of cardiosurgery of children of early age, the merited doctor of Ukraine Yemets Iliya Nikolaevic whom all these years "Children's heart" is President МБФ. Baseline of activity of Fund - a Center of cardiosurgery of children of early age of Institute of cardiovascular surgery АМН of Ukraine where the most difficult operations on heart are executed.

In Fund schedules: allocation of the advisory help for all locales of Ukraine, building of baseline for preparation of professionals in an orb of children's cardiology and cardiosurgery, developing and building regional cardiaccenters in Ukraine.

The international welfare fund "Child's heart" is oriented on implementation of the charitable support program of a Center of cardiosurgery of children of early age of Institute of cardiovascular surgery АМН of Ukraine in which one the help to children with the most difficult congenital heart diseases implements.

Founders of Fund are united by idea to promote the activity to the solution of problems of children's cardiosurgery in Ukraine. It is one of unsolved hospital problems in country.

Every year in Ukraine with 50 million population it is born 4-5 thousand children with congenital heart diseases. Approximately half from them perishes without urgent operative treatment.

For the last five years employees of a Center have operated 500 children who were in a critical state. It means, that the vast majority of children with congenital faults continues to perish. Annually this digit compounds 1500-2000 children. For this reason the program has the slogan: "Healthy children are the future Ukraine".

This severe business has the state support:
Financial aid allocation according to the Supreme Rada solution;
The decree of the Cabinet of ministers №1949 "About measures on dilating of a network children's cardiosurgery services";
The agreement between Germany and Ukraine is signed in July of this year.

Be affiliated to this program could as well businessmen, workers of a social orb, scientific employees, quoters of mass media of Ukraine and other states.

The fund has two main routes of the activity: allocation of the charitable help to children with congenital heart diseases, building of a resource base which one will warrant a financial provision of activity of a Center of cardiosurgery of children of early age, equipment by its up-to-date equipment, saving and developing of scientific potential.

Founders of Fund had been ensured a financial backing of a Center of cardiosurgery of children of early age. For 5 years of activity of Fund its founders had been ensured financing of the reanimation equipment on amount of 150 thousand USD. The USA, the humanitarian help in the form of the operational equipment, surgical tooling, cost intensive prostheses of heart on суму more than 200 thousand dale has been granted. The USA. The fund permanently helps needy monogynopaediums.
